African Development Bank (AfDB) has announced a call for participation in the Fashionomics Africa Contest.
AfDB is organisaing the online contest in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme, Parsons School of Design and Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Make Fashion Circular initiative.
This year’s competition is looking for African fashion brands that will change the ways people produce, buy, use and recycle fashion and encourage a more sustainable change in consumer behaviour.

Eligibility
- Open to African designers over the age of 18
- Participants must have launched a fashion business with a maximum of 50 employees
- Entrant must be operating in the textile sector
