Applications are now open for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Ghana Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Programme 2025.
The Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship programme is one of UNFPA Ghana’s flagship programmes which aligns with the organisation’s mandate of ensuring that every young person’s potential is fulfilled.
Benefit
- Fellows are taken through rigorous training and capacity-building activities which are aimed at building their leadership, public speaking, research, entrepreneurial and networking skills.
- Fellows will be equipped with knowledge and skills about the United Nations system, especially about UNFPA Ghana, international relations and diplomacy
- Fellows will gain one-on-one mentorship training with high-levelled professionals
- Fellows will undertake a mandatory internship with other UN agencies, CSos/NGOs, public and private institutions
Eligibility
- Aged between 18 – 30 years
- A graduate of a tertiary institution in Ghana
- Able to commit to the Fellowship’s duration (one year)
- Proactive and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the English Language for all communication purposes
- Passionate about sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) issues and demonstrate a desire to make a difference in their community: specifically, demonstrate interest and dedication to development issues established through either volunteer experience, work experience, affiliations with a youth network or NGO, in areas of UNFPA’s mandate
