Women In Africa (WIA) has opened applications for funding under the ‘Women for Zero Hunger’ project.
The project is designed to focus on the potential of women to lift the most vulnerable communities out of hunger.
WIA is a social impact entity whose mission is to support African women entrepreneurs and leaders in their journey to impact Africa’s economy.
Benefits
- Each of the three nonprofits will receive €5,000
- At the end of the mentoring period, one of the three finalists will receive an additional €5,000 in financial support
- The representative will be invited to the annual Stop Hunger evening in Paris to receive a trophy and benefit from a crowdfunding operation during the event
Eligibility
- The programme is accessible to existing entities for at least three years
- The entities must be African or represented in an African country
- The entities must be working in one to several African Anglophone and/or Francophone countries
