Apply: USAID Smart Communities Coalition Fund

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has opened applications for the Smart Communities Coalition Innovation Fund (SCCIF).

SCCIF aims to bring private sector-led innovative solutions to displaced populations and crisis-affected host communities to develop service delivery, economically empower displaced populations and contribute to economic and social integration.

The fund is designed to address three strategic pillars to trigger a paradigm shift in humanitarian settings: energy, connectivity, and digital tools.

Benefits

  • A total fund structure of €360.000 has been established for disbursement to successful applicants
  • Each successful applicant will receive between €10,000 and €120,000

Eligibility

  • The organisation should be legally registered in Kenya or Uganda
  • Applications are welcome from entrepreneurs, companies, social enterprises, microfinance institutions, NGOs and consortia
