The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has opened applications for the UNITAR Social Entrepreneurship Training Programme for women in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and Sudan.
The main aim of the programme is to develop the individual, institutional and organisational capacities of countries and other United Nations stakeholders through high-quality learning solutions and related knowledge products and services to enhance decision making and to support country-level action for overcoming global challenges.
The programme is designed for young and motivated early-stage female entrepreneurs and established female business leaders interested in building new ventures, utilising existing information and communication technologies.

Eligibility
- Must be a female
- Be between the ages of 18 and 40
- Geographical and sectoral representation within the country
- Deep interest in entrepreneurship and frontier technology

- Keen passion to learn and highly motivated to succeed and positively impact society
