Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Finance Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the budgeting process and ensure operational plans are consistent with the approved budgets
- Monitor programme unit budget and provide regular budget versus actual analysis for information to the programme unit management team and CFM
- Liaise with programme and grant teams to appropriately manage projects (including grants) financial information in corporate systems
- Prepare timely monthly grant financial reports as per FAD schedule and in accordance with the donors’ requirements
- Review project outlines and modifications to ensure accuracy of codification and budget availability as per latest funding budget with specific outputs for apportioned cost and shared direct cost
- Review and consolidate programme unit monthly cash forecast with biweekly cash refresh
- Ensure petty cash count is performed at least quarterly and kindly documented
- Ensure the programem unit has sufficient funds for operations and project implementation
- Ensure all period 13 transactions are reviewed, approved and posted
- Ensure shared direct costs are recorded in a monthly basis in appropriate projects based on the donor budget allocation
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Management
- One year, minimum, of experience in a similar role
- Fair knowledge of project management
- Good experience and knowledge of accounting and grant funds management regulations and procedures
- Good experience and knowledge of internal financial controls and procedures
- Good experience in project reporting requirements
