Dangote Cement Plc is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Assistant General Manager, Process.
Dangote Cement is engaged in the manufacture, preparation, import, packaging, and distribution of cement and related products in Nigeria and has plants or import terminals in nine other African countries.
Responsibilities
- Total process control at all levels of manufacturing for achieving the targeted production levels
- Conduct process audits for all the manufacturing stages and sub-stages and documenting and reporting
- Collate, compile, and analyse process reports and daily production data on SAP, sensing the deviations, troubleshooting and suggesting ways to enhance level of consistency in quality, volume and productivity in operation
- Suggest and contribute in implementation of new and better process initiatives and modifications for reducing power and fuel consumption and increasing output
- Take initiatives for reducing the operation cost by carrying out modifications and improvements in the process
- Ensure implementation of ISO systems and safety standards in production department
- Train and develop needs analysis of subordinates
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Chemical Engineering
- 18 years, minimum, of experience in cement industry
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to build team
- High analytical skills
- Proficiency in use of engineering software
