Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has opened applications for its International Development Fellows Programme 2025.
CRS International Development Fellows Programme prepares dedicated global citizens to pursue a career in international relief and development work, and it empowers fellows to hone their skills and gain practical field experience while contributing to impactful work.
Benefits
- Fellows can access providers around the world through CRS’ health plan with Aetna International
- CRS provides each fellow with basic furnished housing, which includes electricity, running water, internet and security services (if necessary)
- Fellows will get 20 days of paid vacation along with 12 days of sick leave annually
- CRS covers the Fellow’s travel to their country of assignment
- CRS offers a 50 percent match on the first 6 percent of contributions as well as a contribution of 7 percent of pay regardless of employee contributions, after six months of service
- Fellows have access to CRS’ robust online learning platform
- CRS will reimburse up to $5,200 per year for employees pursuing degrees and professional certifications, after one year of employment
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a graduate degree in a relevant field
- Two years, minimum, of work experience, including six months, minimum, of work or volunteer experience in a developing country
- Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional proficiency in a second language (preference given to French, Arabic and Portuguese)
- Able to work in locations with infectious diseases and limited access to medical facilities.
