Technovation has announced a call for participation in the 2021 Technovation Girls Programme.
The programme is designed to bring girls, mentors, and educators together to learn and apply technology skills to change the world.
The free technology-based programme aims to find a problem in community and build a mobile app to help solve it.
Benefits
- Develop collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Learn to code an app that solves problem, and develop other skills along the way
- Learn from industry mentors
Eligibility
- Open to girls or young women between the ages of ten and 18
- Teams are composed of one to five students
- Competition divisions are based on the age of the oldest student on a team
- Students can participate in Technovation Girls for multiple seasons until they reach the age of 18.
