Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation (GISI) at the Arizona State University has announced a call for participation in the WE Empower UN SDG Challenge 2021.
The WE Empower UN SDG Challenge is a competition for women social entrepreneurs who are advancing the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The contest honors innovative women leaders from around the world who are pushing the SDGs forward through sustainable business practices and inspiring others to follow suit.
Benefits
- Participate in events surrounding the 76th UN General Assembly as well as connect with renowned business experts from around the world
- Awardees will present their business for the opportunity to receive a grant of $20,000
Eligibility
- Open to female entrepreneur with lead decision-making ability in a business or organisation
- Business/organisation must have been operating for more than three years
- Business/organisation must be generating $100,000, minimum, in annual sales or revenue
- Participant must be fluent in spoken and written English
- Participant must be 21 years old or above
