Nigeria: Oilserv Makes Covid-19 Relief Donation

As individuals and organisations continue to support the fight against the spread of Covid-19 across Nigeria, the Oilserv Group of Companies has donated medical supplies and food items in support of the government and communities’ efforts.

The Group which provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), medical supplies and devices for rapid medical tests to the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 (PTFC), will also support families with food items in communities across the nation to help cushion the effects of the imposed lockdown by the government.

The company said it has already delivered over 3,500 bags of rice and 8,000 tubers of yams under the sponsorship of the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation (SEOF) to communities across Rivers, Abia, and Anambra States, bringing the total worth of food supplies over ₦40 million.

The medical supplies which include 6,000 disposable nose masks, 1,500 hand gloves, 80 cartons of face shields, 4,000 disposable protective suits, 1,200 infrared thermometers, 250 facial and temperature monitors and 2,500 Covid-19 rapid test kits were worth over ₦70 million.

Speaking concerning the donations made, the Director of SEOF, Azuka Okwuosa, said that the Group believes in the power of humanity solving challenges, committing to positive impact while also supporting the government in difficult times.
