Girl Rising has called for submission of entries for the 2020 Girl Rising Storytelling Challenge.
Girl Rising is looking for diverse stories of how individuals, groups and organisations are working to support racial justice, gender justice, access to education or simply helping their communities in this period of Covid-19 pandemic.
The aim of Girl Rising is to ensure that girls around the world are educated and empowered.
Benefits
- All stories will be part of online collection
- Fifteen stories will receive a financial award of $500 and will be showcased at the Girl Rising International Day of the girl celebration in October, 2020
- Selected stories will be featured on Girl Rising’s social media channels
Eligibility
- Stories are welcome from anywhere in the world and in all languages
- Anyone over the age of 14 can submit a story
