The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced a call for applications for the African Young Women Leaders (AfYWL) Fellowship Programme.
The AfYWL programme is a partnership between the African Union Commission (AUC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Eligibility
- Open to only female candidates from an African country
- Applicants must not be above the age of 30
- Applicants must have strong working knowledge of English
- Applicants must have master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Political Science, Business Administration, International Relations/Development, Law, Communications, Digitisation or a related development field
- Applicants must have two years, minimum, of relevant and paid work experience in research, analysis and programme/project development, implementation and management
- Applicants must be willing to relocate to duty station, live and work outside the country of residence on an assignment that leverages their skills and potential
- Applicants must have an understanding of, and interest in, poverty eradication, sustainable structural transformation, the SDGs and Agenda 2063
