Earth Journalism Network (EJN), with support from Arcadia, has opened applications for the Biodiversity Media Grants 2020.
The grants will support projects that build the capacity of journalism networks and media organisations to report on biodiversity and conservation issues, and carry out biodiversity and/or conservation training activities for journalists.
EJN says it is especially interested in projects that focus on conservation in biodiversity-rich regions of the world.
Benefits
- Grant of $48,000 would be ideally shared among three to five projects
Eligibility
- Open to journalist networks, media organisations, civil society organisations or academic institutions
- Applicants should note their affiliations with existing media organisations or provide detailed plans about how this project would facilitate the creation of a new network or organisation
- Existing or former grantees are eligible to apply
