Enterprise Growth Initiative (EGI) has opened applications for the Ekiti Enterprise Challenge (EEF) 2020.
The challenge is designed for young solution-oriented entrepreneurs and business owners in Ekiti State, southwest Nigeria.
It is understood that the challenge is in line with the United Nation’s sustainable development goals, and looks to identify and support budding entrepreneurs who can create more job opportunities to improve the communities within which they operate.
Benefits
- Five days of enterprise development Boot camp
- The winner will receive N1,000,000
- The first runner-up will receive N500,000
- The second runner-up will receive N300,000
- The third runner-up will receive N200,000
Eligibility
- Businesses must be established and operating in communities within Ekiti State.
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Businesses must be at least 12 months old and already generating revenue
- Businesses must have potential for exponential growth and scale beyond the local market to the national and global market
- Businesses must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria
- Businesses must have a corporate bank account with a corporate governance structure
- Businesses must have a clarity business model with leadership capacity to deliver the business value proposition
