4Kids International, a U.S.-based non-governmental organisation that focuses on promoting children and youth empowerment through advocacy and capacity building activities, has cancelled its planned launch in Liberia over the threat of Covid-19.
The change was effected after the President of Liberia, George M. Weah, announced that the country had recorded two cases of Covid-19. The organisation cancelled the planned event and turned its focus to sensitising the people of Liberia about Covid-19 through a campaign, National Awareness and Preventions of the Coronavirus, which it has conducted across schools, communities and institutions.
