Enter: Google Impact Challenge for Women, Girls

Google has announced a call for participation in the Impact Challenge for Women and Girls.

Gender inequity is one of the most urgent challenges in the world, and the Covid-19 pandemic has put the economic future of women and girls at even greater risk.

To this end, this challenge aims to advance economic empowerment for women and girls, providing the tools, resources and opportunities organisations need to turn ideas and economic potential into power.

Benefits

  • Each selected organisation will receive between $300,000 and two million dollars in funding

Eligibility

  • Open to not-for-profit charity, not-for-profit organisations, public or private academic or research institution, or for-profit social enterprise company with a project that has an explicit charitable purpose
  • Google is looking for innovators who understand the needs within both their local communities and countries
  • Organisation must have a registered office in your country of residence
  • Individuals without organisational affiliation are ineligible
