When: 03–04 March, 2021

McKinsey and Company has invited women and other stakeholders to its virtual Women’s Global Operations Summit, which is aimed at broadening their horizon.
The organisation, in its announcement, says it passionately believes in developing outstanding women leaders and promoting gender diversity.
According to McKinsey, the event offers participants a chance to learn about the organisation’s global work in operations, engage with McKinsey operations consultants and meet other like-minded women from around the world.
The event, according to the organisation, is also designed to strengthen the operations skillset of participants through interactive workshops and client case studies.
The organisation noted that participants should have a background in engineering or business and (initial) work experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain management, product development, procurement, service operations, implementation, capital excellence, advanced analytics, or quality management.
Students working towards obtaining a master’s degree, an MBA, or a PhD, with an engineering or business background are also targeted participants.
