YouthPower, in collaboration with United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has opened applications for the YouthLead Ambassador Programme.
The YouthLead programme is a six-month professional development and leadership gathering for young changemakers.
Benefits
- YouthLead ambassadors will receive a nominal stipend of $300 at the end of the programme
- Ambassadors will be featured on the YouthLead platform
- Ambassadors may also get visibility with YouthLead sponsors and other relevant influencers
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a young changemaker resident in a low-or middle-income (LMIC) country
- Be active as changemakers in the youth-development sector at the local, regional, national, or global level
- Must have some experience working on social issues
- Demonstrated ability to organise community activities is an advantage
- Applicant should be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of application and end of April 2021
- Have an active presence on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram
- Experience in organising social media campaigns, chats, discussions, etc
- Be self-motivated and creative
- Have strong collaboration and communication skills
