Access Bank Plc has opened applications for the second edition of Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton Programme.
The aim of the programme is to provide financial and business skills to female entrepreneurs.
In its maiden edition, the programme provided financial grants worth nine million naira to the top five participants with a free mini MBA certification for 50 women entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
The programme has been extended to six other African countries where Access Bank’s W initiative has its presence.
Benefits
- First prize is N5,000.000/local currency equivalent of winner’s country
- Second prize is N2,000.000/local currency equivalent of winner’s country
- Third prize is N1,000.000/local currency equivalent of winner’s country
- Fourth Prize is N750,000/local currency equivalent of winner’s country
- Fifth Prize is N500,000/local currency equivalent of winner’s country
- The top 50 applicants will receive an eight-week mini MBA training from the
International Finance Corporation
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a woman who owns and runs her business
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicant must be a legal resident of Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Zambia, with extension to Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Gambia, or Congo
- Applicant must be voluntarily willing to submit a background check
