The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking to fill the role of Talent Sourcing Specialist.
WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and hiring managers to understand position objectives, and determine candidate requirements and sourcing options
- Research availability of gender diverse talent pools for select roles to advise and consult with recruiters and hiring managers to develop a strategy to engage and attract such talent
- Utilise multiple sourcing tools and advanced sourcing techniques to identify talent for open requisitions such as online social networking, cold-calling, traditional networking, Boolean searches and referrals
- Proactively build underrepresented talent pools through active sourcing, recruiting events, sourcing campaigns, diaspora, diversity partnership opportunities
- Improve gender diversity and drive improvements on talent attraction and recruitment approaches, especially to attract qualified female candidates (with special attention on diaspora) to hardship locations
- Develop/update macrolevel country specific labour market reports and presentations
- Screen resumes and interview candidates
- Recommend (where needed) new sourcing tools or approaches through in-depth market research
- Proactively stay abreast of latest trends and developments in the area of talent sourcing and attraction to constantly support WFP to optimise and improve its practices
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a relevant field
- Fluency (level C) in oral and written English
- Four years, minimum, of postgraduate professional experience in the talent acquisition, with three years, minimum, working at international or regional level
- Experience working as part of a multicultural and diverse team and/or leading one
- Deep knowledge of the recruiting market and trends in the Middle East
- Demonstrated success developing and deploying creative, effective candidate pipeline development methodologies and effective outreach strategies
- Experience in sourcing and recruiting hard-to-find profiles
- Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, technology, and sourcing tools
- Experience with SAP recruitment platforms (highly desirable)
