United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Health Specialist.

Responsibilities
- Carry out programme development and planning
- Ensure programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
- Provide advisory services and technical support
- Carry out advocacy, networking and partnership building
- Take charge of innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Public Health/Nutrition, Pediatric Health, Family Health, Health Research, Global/International Health, Health Policy, Environmental Health Sciences, Biostatistics, Socio-Medical, Health Education, Epidemiology, or a related technical field
- Eight years, minimum, of professional experience in public health/nutrition planning and management, maternal and neonatal health care, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness
- Experience working in a developing country is an asset
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organisation is an asset
- Fluency in French and good working skills in English
- Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is an asset
