The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CGH), United States, has opened applications for grants to support the implementation of HIV prevention and treatment programmes in the central Kenya.
The funding is expected to cover activities in Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Muranga, and Nyeri counties.
According to the (CGH), it aims to strengthen the capacity of the aforementioned counties to own and sustain HIV services. For sustainability and efficiency, HIV services, it added, will be integrated into the routine county health-care delivery system, with strong linkages to the community.
