The Other Foundation has opened applications for research grants for African researchers.
The Other Foundation will support interested researchers to work with activists and advocates to deepen knowledge and to advance the human rights, safety, and social inclusion of gay and lesbian people.
Benefit
- Maximum amount to an individual is ZAR 10,000 for a period of up to 12 months
- Maximum amount to an unregistered organisation is ZAR 50,000 over 12 months
Eligibility
- Only researchers that live and work in Africa will be given access to survey data during the embargoed period, and only researchers (individuals or organisations) that are based in and work in Africa will be given research grants
- Applicants must be living in one of the eligible countries to apply for an individual grant
- Organisations must be registered and/or working in one of the eligible countries
