NRC provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
• Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action
• Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
• Ensure proper filing of documents
• Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore new and better ways to assist
• Promote and share ideas for technical improvement

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Sociology, Social Work, International Development from a recognised institution
• Four years, minimum, of experience in in humanitarian response and refugee/IDP protection
• Knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Experience of proposal and project report-writing and team building
• Knowledge of the protection context (gaps and needs) in Asosa refugee camps
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Knowledge of other Ethiopian Amharic and Afan Oromo languages (desirable)
