The Family Health International (FHI 360) is seeking to fill the role of Communications and Outreach Specialist.

FHI 360 builds local capacity for the delivery of sustainable, high-quality, comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communications and outreach strategy
  • Develop communication and outreach materials for the project and stakeholders, including USAID and local partners
  • Ensure adherence to USAID branding and marketing guidelines and procedures, and work with project staff on adherence to guidelines and procedures
  • Develop and oversee communication campaigns delivered by platforms working with partners and stakeholders
  • Provide advertising and promotional support for special project events and community outreach activities
  • Support the chief of party and work with technical specialists to achieve project objectives through appropriately segmented and targeted communication initiatives
  • Ensure quality and good production on all communication platforms, including email, website, social media platforms of the project
  • Prepare a quarterly communication and outreach report that promotes the project’s activities and successes for inclusion in the quarterly project performance report
  • Coordinate with the monitoring, evaluation and learning specialist to use evidence-based approaches in formulating messaging content and support monitoring of outcomes of communication initiatives
  • Ensure the technical quality of all communications deliverables for the project, and perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent (master’s degree preferred) in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Gender Studies, Sociology, a relevant field

  • Five years, minimum, of relevant experience in managing and implementing development activities, including those related to strategic communications

  • Knowledge of effective communication platforms in Morocco

  • Demonstrated knowledge of USAID rules and regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and collaborate with others

  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in French, Arabic and English, both orally and in writing
