West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), in partnership with the STAR-Ghana Foundation, is organising the webinar and learning series for civil society organisations (CSOs) in Ghana and across the global south.
The online gathering aims to introduce CSOs and other development actors to alternative funding avenues through shared learning and experiences from community foundations and grantmakers in Africa.
This webinar, which is the first session of the webinar series, specifically aims to motivate participating organisations to adopt innovative development financing models to improve their financial sustainability.
It also aims to introduce participants to the asset-based community development concept and how to adopt it as an alternative financial model.
