The Women for Africa Foundation is seeking entries for its 11th edition of the Science by Women programme to promote African women leadership in scientific research and technology.
The Science by Women fellowship is designed to empower African women scientists by providing them with the opportunity to conduct advanced research in top-tier Spanish institutions.
Benefits
- Monthly living allowance of €1,976 net
- Round-trip airfare of up to €1,800
- Reimbursement for visa-related expenses up to €400
- Participants may also receive financial assistance to attend seminars or conferences during their stay
Eligibility
- Applicants must be women of African nationality and residency
- Hold a PhD in a relevant scientific field
- Have an active contractual relationship with a university or research organisation in Africa
- Possess advanced level of English for communication, (knowledge of Spanish an added advantage)
