World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking to fill the role of Human Resources Officer (HR Business Partner).
WFP works to ensure the most vulnerable populations, especially women and children, can access the nutritious food they need.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, monitor, adapt and respond to a variety of complex internal and external queries related to HR policies, rules and regulations in order to provide guidance to managers and staff
- Initiate, coordinate and roll out all HR internal communication messages
- Prepare and provide accurate information, collating and analysing data and producing clear, insightful and meaningful reports
- Manage the development and implementation of HR solutions by understanding how the organisation works
- Manage talent acquisition process for positions based in the area/field offices in liaison with HR team in the country office
- Facilitate administration of written exams and interviews conducted/undertaken at the area office level as need be
- Manage the delivery of effective onboarding experience at area office level
- Coach managers on performance management for all types of contract
- Ensure all staff in operations have job descriptions, Terms of Reference (ToRs) and valid contracts, and a copy of the annual performance plan
- Manage the communication and administration of learning and capability building interventions
- Manage the implementation of learning needs and skill gap analyses
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Organisational Psychology, or a related field
- Five years, minimum, of experience in human resources operations
- Good command of oral and written English is essential
- Good communication skills
- Good working knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of HR business partnering gained through technical training and experience
- Good communication skills and understanding of HR principles and their application
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of individuals in order to provide a high quality support service
- Ability to collate, analyse and compile relevant data from a variety of sources in order to produce periodic reports
