The U.S. Embassy, Kampala, Public Affairs Section (PAS) has opened applications for the Mobile Bus (Nile Explorer 2.0) Programme Operation.
The ‘Nile Explorer’ is a large bus decorated in red, white, and blue that sparks excitement for learning, and particularly STEM learning.
This bus, which has been in operation since 2017, travels throughout Uganda, conducting programming for primary and secondary students.
Benefits
- Award amounts may range from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $108,000
- Up to three number of awards
Eligibility
- Not-for-profit organisations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organisations
- Public and private educational institutions
- Public international organisations and governmental institutions
