United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Programme Specialist.
UNDP works in nearly 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion.
Responsibilities
- Formulation and implementation of country office projects and programmes
- Advocacy, partnerships building and support in developing resource mobilisation strategies
- Strong positioning of UNDP in the UN family
- Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing and promote innovation
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Science, Social Sciences, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field
- Five years, minimum, of relevant experience at the national or international level
- Experience in research and policy-level analysis
- Experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages
- Experience in handling of web-based management systems and advanced programmes for data analysis
- Fluency in French and English language
