Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Business Analyst.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate business planning processes in terms of budgeting and forecasting
- Communicate instructions and milestones for enhanced business planning
- Review and consolidate planning inputs for the country
- Review budget entries in SAP and keep records of budget modifications
- Review and consolidate monthly budget versus actual analysis
- Participate in financial training involving partners and field-based community organisations
- Ensure timely monthly financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax legislation in respect of financial matters
- Test the accrual system to ensure they are normally and consistently captured
- Keep updated bank details and bank account signatories for the country
- Verify the consistency and accuracy of the payroll information
- Monitor inter-company accounts
- Support the use of corporate SAP financial systems
- Prepare monthly operating cost analysis to permit decision-making by CLT
- Prepare reviewing periodic financial reports (oversight) including monthly grants and year-end reports
- Lead the monthly balance sheet account analysis process
- Prepare the monthly PACK2 report CFM
- Ensure that financial control processes, procedures and systems are in place
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
- Five years, minimum, of senior experience in financial analysis and management, preferably in a humanitarian setting
- Methodical and strategic thinking
- Good communication skills (spoken and written)
- Fluency in French and good knowledge of English
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong budgeting and accounting experience
- Experience of working with different donor agencies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- System savvy with very good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with safeguarding standards and practice
