Applications are now open for the 2025 Moving Minds Alliance Research Fellowship Programme.
The Moving Minds Alliance Research Fellowship Programme supports local researchers to carry out studies on issues related to young children (aged zero to eight years) and their caregivers in emergency contexts.
Benefits
- One-time stipend of US $5,000 to be used toward research activities
- Opportunities for knowledge sharing, mentoring, and dissemination of individual’s research to a global audience (through learning events and webinars to which fellows will be invited to share their findings
- A community of practice of researchers around the world who are focusing on young children and families in climate emergency contexts
Eligibility
- Applicants must have original, rigorous, and methodologically sound research (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods)
- Research must be original, filling gaps in the current research landscape on young children,
caregivers, and their communities in climate emergencies or children living in climate-vulnerable - Applicants’ research must have the potential to inform programming and policy and make sure the issues are relevant across contexts
- Applicants’ research must align with the Nurturing Care Framework (responsive caregiving, safety, early learning, nutrition, mental health)
- Applicants can conduct research over a 12-month period
