Intrepid Entrepreneurs (IE) has announced a call for applications for the Next Health Accelerator 2021.
The Next Health Accelerator programme offers six months of opportunity assessment, product development, acquisition marketing, network access and expert mentoring for selected startups with a focus on regional expansion and product adoption and integration in existing value chains.
Next Health Accelerator harnesses the promise and potential of entrepreneurs with solutions to the most pressing challenges in health today, particularly in sexual and reproductive health.
Benefits
- Each startup will receive $15,000 of seed funding during the acceleration phase to facilitate validation of new or improved products and services
- Startups will have access to a network of mentors, coaches, experts in their respective fields
- Startups will receive support in technology, marketing, and design as well as entrepreneurship
Eligibility
- African talent that sees the individual as an active agent in accessing health care and achieving health goals
- Entrepreneurs who believe in normalising sexual and reproductive health and who have scalable solutions to do so
