The REEL Foundation, in partnership with Total, has called for submission of entries for the Young Writers Challenge.
The REEL’s goal is to ensure that children, irrespective of their socio-economic background, have access to quality learning that will enhance their knowledge and skills and put them at par with their peers globally.
Benefits
- The top ten entries will get recognition
- The winner will receive a cash prize of N50,000 and a tablet computer with pre-installed learning resources
- The first runner-up will receive a cash prize of N30,000 and a tablet computer with pre-installed learning resources
- The second runner-up will receive a cash prize of N15,000 and a tablet computer with pre-installed learning resources
- The remaining seven contestants will receive special prizes
- In addition to the prizes, all top ten finishers will receive a one-time career counselling session to explore careers that require strong writing skills
Eligibility
- Applicant must be between the ages of seven and 13
- Applicant must be a Nigerian and residing in Nigeria
