Solidarités International is seeking to fill the position of Country Director.
Solidarités International provides aid in the event of conflict and natural disasters.
Responsibilities
- Be in charge of the smooth running of the mission
- Propose mission strategy according to the geopolitical and humanitarian context and ensure its implementation once it has been validated
- Monitor projects, ensuring that they are progressing in accordance with the Solidarités International charter and complying with internal and contractual procedures
- Mobilise the material and financial resources necessary for the programmes to run effectively and supervise the administration of these resources
- Coordinate the teams in place and ensure their security on the mission
- Be the direct liaison for Solidarités International’s headquarters
Requirements
- Experience as a manager in humanitarian environments, including as country director or field coordinator
- Significant experience in management, including with international staff
- Skills in humanitarian analysis and external representation
- Experience in security management in a complex environment
- Technical experience in WASH/food security is an asset
- Training and capacity-building skills
