What: Shaping the Future of Microfinance Digitally

Microfinance Technology Summit aims to create and strengthen bonds between microfinance institutions and technology companies that own great tech solutions for them.
Development Diaries reports that the summit will bring together delegates from across the entire microfinance sector in Africa to match with the technology sector, and focus discussions on how they can potentially collaborate to walk the digital journey.
There will be a gathering of over 500 of the most senior representatives from microfinance institutions, banks, regulators, policymakers and technology companies.
According to the organisers, SNG Events in partnership with Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR), the summit will enable participants to know exactly what the sector is expecting, the challenges, and to design the right solution.
Speakers will include the Chief Executive Office and Cofounder, PremierCredit Zambia, Chilufya Mutale; General Director, U IMCEC Senegal, Ousmane Thiongane; Chief Executive Officer, Mobile Money Rwanda Limited, Chantel Kagame; Head of Credit, Fido App, Ghana; General Manager, Business Technology, Centenary Bank, Uganda, Francis Ekemu; and Chief Fintech and Innovation Officer, Fast Credit Limited, Nigeria.
