Participate: Graduate Institute Challenge 2022

The Graduate Institute, Geneva, has announced a call for participation in the 2022 Advancing Development Goals Contest.

The contest aims to present innovative and pragmatic solutions to address the challenges of poverty.

Benefits

  • The organisers will distribute CHF 25,000 in monetary prizes
  • Winners will also receive travel and accommodation payments
  • The five finalist teams will be invited to publicly present their work in Geneva before a panel of high-level experts
  • Networking opportunities are also envisioned as part of the prize package

Eligibility

  • Open to teams of three to five master’s degree students worldwide
  • Applicants must submit an 8,000-word proposal that identifies a challenge related to poverty reduction; documents an interdisciplinary analysis on how it affects different aspects of development in a specific (but transposable) context; and suggests innovation at the policy, practice, process or technology levels
