The World Vision International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Project Officer.
The mission of the organisation includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed, promoting human transformation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organise gender and child protection meetings/forums with project beneficiaries
- Create awareness of gender and child protection processes among the community
- Facilitate formation of child support committees and children clubs from different target villages
- Initiate talks with target schools’ administration on child protection and psychosocial support
- Compile and write project progress reports
- Monitor the implementation of project plans and activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field
- Two years, minimum, of work experience in protection and safeguarding-related area
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Good capacity building skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
