The Women for the Environment (WE) Africa has opened applications for its 2022 Leadership Programme.
The programme aims to prepare women leaders to change the way conservation and environmental protection is done in Africa.
Benefits

Eligibility
- Open to African nationals or those who have had permanent residency in Africa for a minimum of 15 years
- Applicants should have 15 years, minimum, of experience working in the environmental space in government, NGO, or private sector in Africa, including at least five years serving in a senior leadership role
- Applicants should be committed to investing in personal growth
- Applicants should have a mentoring record and desire to support future environmental leaders
- Applicants should have access to reliable internet
- Applicants should be able to speak and understand English
- Applicant should be able to contribute U.S.$500 toward the cost of the course to secure a place, and cover travel costs to two in-person retreats for an estimated U.S.$1,500
