The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Programme Analyst.
The mission of UNOPS is to serve people in need by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners to manage projects, infrastructure, and procurement in a sustainable and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Support the partnership creation process with private sector entities using UNEP’s online partners portal, including validation, risk, and strategy assessments
- Assist in the due diligence processes of private sector partners, including research and reviewing
- Support the maintenance of the database of private sector partnerships
- Support the preparation of various written outputs such as background papers and private sector engagement briefing
- Contribute to training workshops for UNEP staff on the use of the partners’ portal, and information-sharing webinars related to private sector engagement to implement the work programme
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Development Studies and/or Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- Advanced university degree in relevant discipline is a plus
- Two years, minimum, of relevant experience in working with a government institution/international organisation and/or private sector
