United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is seeking to fill the role of Supply and Logistics Associate.

Responsibilities
- In consultation with supervisor, participate in the forecasting, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the supply chain operations, including establishment of performance indicators
- Support supply emergency preparedness and response activities including establishment of long-term arrangements, logistics capacity assessment and contingency plan update
- Provide input to and advice on the annual supply plan
- Conduct data review and analysis for category management and development of procurement strategies
- Provide logistics input to the supply plan, including advising on infrastructure constraints and different delivery mechanisms
- Advise on budget requirements for various delivery modalities and ensure establishment of budget with clients
Requirements
- Secondary school education, preferably supplemented with technical or university courses related to Supply Chain, Business Administration, Contract/Commercial Law, or a similar field
- Six years, minimum, of relevant professional experience in supply chain management or a commercial context
- Understanding of development and humanitarian work is a plus
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is an asset
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset
