The U.S. Mission in Nigeria’s Public Affairs Sections (PAS) has announced a call for its Public Diplomacy (PD) Small Grants.
PAS says the grants will help promote Nigeria’s democratic governance, unity and stability by improving government transparency and accountability, the rule of law, a free and professional media, as well as civil society capacity and engagement.
Additionally, the PAS grants seek to promote youth engagement, cultural exchange, and protects against security threats while fostering peace and stability through measures to counter violent extremism, reduce human trafficking and illegal immigration.
Benefits
- The floor of individual and/or organisational award amount is $5,000
- The ceiling of individual and/or organisational award amount is $50,000
Eligibility
- Non-profit and civil society/non-governmental organisations with at least two-year programming experience and with evidence of required registrations
- Registered educational institutions
- Individuals or organisations located in Nigeria, and the United States of America encouraged to apply
