Stand To End Rape Initiative (STER) has opened applications for the role of Pidgin Translator.
STER is a youth-led social enterprise advocating against sexual and gender-based violence, providing prevention mechanisms and supporting survivors with psychosocial services.
Responsibilities
- Translate, edit and proofread materials to accurately reflect the local Nigerian language (pidgin English) for easy audience comprehension
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and proof of work done
- Familiarity with gender equality, and sexual and gender-based violence
- Expertise in pidgin English language
- Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills
