Stand To End Rape Initiative (STER) has opened applications for the role of Pidgin Translator.

STER is a youth-led social enterprise advocating against sexual and gender-based violence, providing prevention mechanisms and supporting survivors with psychosocial services.

Responsibilities

Translate, edit and proofread materials to accurately reflect the local Nigerian language (pidgin English) for easy audience comprehension

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and proof of work done
Familiarity with gender equality, and sexual and gender-based violence
Expertise in pidgin English language
Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills
