Applications are open for the Soulidarity Fund for Musicians. This fund is for musicians whose live events, concerts and festivals were cancelled or postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The goal of the fund is to raise €2.4 million through a worldwide campaign to provide substantial relief to musicians, most of whom are not getting support from their governments.
Benefits
- Musicians will be eligible to receive a relief payment depending on the amount of money raised
- Each musician will get a minimum of €1,800 and a maximum of €4,500 depending on the number of shows cancelled or postponed
Eligibility
- Only managers or agents can submit applications on behalf of a band or artiste
- The musicians must be resident in Africa
- Musician must be an international touring act and can confirm lost shows in Europe, America, Oceania or Asia in the period from March to December 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic
- Musician must provide and share content for social media
