Plan International is seeking to fill the role of Human Resources Personnel Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure application of legal rules and regulations in accordance with labour and insurance laws
  • Coordinate and process the monthly timesheets for all staff and produce a monthly consolidated report to be used for cost recovery
  • Implement the internal personnel regulations and procedures and the labour law and investigate non-compliance cases to recommend the appropriate disciplinary action for country director approva
  • Liaise with governmental authorities to obtain/renew work permits, residence permits and other legal approvals for international employees
  • Handle the labour office payment
  • Support the contract administration of staff
  • Deal with labour and social insurance offices
  • Prepare and execute the governmental medical insurance for all employees
  • Handle compensation and benefits claims
  • Prepare and maintain a strong database for current and former employees
  • Liaise with service provider on staff health insurance to ensure high level of service and effectiveness of the relationship
  • Maintain an effective electronic human resources information system, ensuring completeness and accuracy of records at all times in line with organisational standards and fitting practices
  • Collate annual leave plans from all staff for effective leave planning, monitoring and administration in line with HR policy manual provisions
  • Promote and abide by Plan International policies and procedures including, but not limited to, safeguarding children and young people policy, code of conduct and mandatory reporting responsibilities
  • Enter data into the HR systems and personal files and keep them updated
  • Administrate the HR information HITS system to ensure it is maintained, updated and functional
  • Maintain control documents, forms, policies, work instructions and personnel files
  • Propose improvements to policies, programmes, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources
  • Administer work permit for foreigners

Requirements

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of Egyptian labour, insurance and tax laws and a related employment law
  • Advanced knowledge of court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process
  • Advanced knowledge of employment and service contract administration
  • Fair knowledge of tender processes
  • Three years, minimum, of pure experience in personnel administration, preferably INGO human resources
  • Good experience in Social Insurance and Labour Office
  • Proven experience in administering compensation and benefits
  • Good experience with controlling of document
