Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Finance Intern.
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
Responsibilities
- File all voucher packages and other finance documents
- Cancel each document in a package with the paid stamp
- Sort and photocopy advance vouchers
- Record all documents dispatched and received in the finance department in appropriate registers
- Assist in retrieving documents for specific activities from file
- Prepare bank reconciliation
- Photocopy all documents sent to the region for year-end process and file them
Requirements
- HND in Accounting
- Commitment and adherence to humanitarian values and standards
- Neutrality in the current socio-political crisis
- Trustworthiness and integrity
- Ability to operate effectively under extreme circumstances, including stress, high security risks, diverse cultural contexts and harsh living conditions
- Awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity
