Palladium Group is seeking to fill the position of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Communications Associate.

Responsibilities
- With MEL advisor, develop and ensure continual adjustment of the communication strategy
- With MEL advisor, ensure the alignment of MEL and communications activities with programme goals and contribute to the development of annual workplans to identify targets and ensure inclusion of MEL and communications activities
- Support monitoring and tracking of project activities against the results framework
- Conduct site visits as necessary for data validation to monitor the quality and completeness of data sets
- Support generation of monthly indicator reports and tracking of progress against key indicators
- Collect and analyse data and results and evaluate progress in support of collaboration, learning, and adapting plan
- Develop and disseminate information to familiarise target audiences with the project’s scope and activities
- Work closely with the project stakeholders and support grantees/sub-awardees to build their MEL and communications capacity
- Contribute to the identification, analysis, and synthesis of technical knowledge and evidence-based information in intervention areas
- Support project innovations and creativity by promoting innovations at project and partner levels
- Support preparation of high-quality project reports and documentation
- Coordinate implementation of the project’s communication strategy
- Work closely with USAID development outreach and communications team to implement SCALE’s branding strategy and marking plan
- Ensure compliance with the SCALE branding strategy and marketing plan
- Communicate key messages and share success stories, best practices, and lessons learnt
- Develop reports, communications materials, and engagement activities, documenting events and activities
- Produce infographics for reports and communication materials
- Develop communications campaigns to highlight thematic topic areas as necessary, and help develop and implement engagement strategies
- Facilitate linkages and partnerships with media organisations
- Organise webinars and other learning events
- Facilitate media and social media administrative processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Demography, Statistics, Social Sciences, Journalism, Knowledge Management, Public Policy Communications or a related field
- Five years, minimum, of progressively responsible experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning and/or communications and knowledge management tasks for development projects
- Experience in planning, coordinating and executing communications products including infographics
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong organisational skills and oral/written communication skills in English
- Experience with USAID-funded governance programmes (highly desirable)
- Authorized to work in Nigeria
