The New Zealand Global Research Alliance Doctoral Scholarship (NZ-GRADS) is a fully-funded opportunity for students from developing countries who are ready to complete their PhDs in the science of agricultural greenhouse gas emissions.

  • The children of successful candidates will be able to enrol as domestic students in New Zealand’s free state schools

  • Successful candidates may also be able to work alongside their studies (PhD students studying in New Zealand usually have unlimited work rights)

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to all students from developing countries (as defined by the World Trade Organisation). However, the PhD research topic of the candidate must be related to greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural systems.
