LEAP Africa has announced a call for applications for the 2023 Youth Leadership Development Programme (YLDP).
The YLDP is a five-month leadership programme for young Nigerian undergraduates that aims to equip and empower them with the skills, knowledge and resources required to become transformative leaders and active citizens who will drive sustainable development in their communities.
Benefits
- Successful applicants will share between N200,000–N1.5 million
Eligibility
- open to undergraduates in tertiary/vocational institutions in Nigeria
- Participants must be between the ages of 18–30 years
- Participants must be Passionate about advocacy, activism and community development
- Participants must be interested in inclusion, diversity and civic responsibility and eager to exercise these interests
- Participants must be eager to champion change projects geared towards community development and the SDGs
- Participants must be eager to engage with government institutions and influence policy
- Participants must be committed to attending the Online Training, Debates and is available for mentoring
